The base camp of Berghaus, our 'big logo' t-shirt design was conceived above our original shop on Dean Street, Newcastle. In the late 80s, no crag would be seen without one. Now re-purposed for the streets. Pair with joggers, jeans or wide leg chinos for the skate park, or clip on a carabiner and head for the hills.

Brand

In 1966, outdoor wear as we know it didn’t really exist. Then Berghaus came along. Their specialist outdoor store in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK, went by the name of the LD Mountain Centre and quickly gained a reputation for selling the very best in high-performance outdoor products from the likes of Atomic Skis, Marker Bindings and Nordica Ski. Today Berghaus is a global brand recognised by everyone.
