Product Description

Reversible polycotton sweatshirt taken from the brand's historical archive. The double stripe on the chest and the contrast colour collar are the characteristics of this sweatshirt and the SuperMac polo shirt, again from the 80s and both launched by John McEnroe on the grand slam courts. The fabric replicates the look and texture of the original, and the design is exactly the same as that worn by the tennis players of the International Team Tacchini in the 80s.

It all began in 1966 when Sergio Tacchini retired from competitive tennis and founded Sandys, a company manufacturing and distributing sportswear and sports shoes. Tacchini started with kits for his former tennis colleagues with the first tennis wear collections created by the former champion. In the late 70s the Italian brand developed a total look leisure collection. The collections are for both men and women, and range from outerwear to trousers and shoes.
