Delivery Methods Explained
Fast UK Delivery
This is available on any UK Inland order over £75.00. Your order will be dispatched via Dpd Local or via a Royal Mail signed for service. There are no deliveries on a Saturday or a Sunday for this service so orders received after 13:00 on a Friday, and any order placed Saturday and Sunday, will be sent out on a Monday or Tuesday for delivery within 5-7 working days. You will receive an email notification one hour before the parcel is delivered. ‘Standard Delivery’ can take up to 3-4 working days and is available on all orders to a UK Inland address ( This service is not available to the Highlands and Islands of the UK ). The order will be sent on a ‘signed for’ service from Royal Mail or Dpd Local.
Next Working Day Delivery
For UK Inland orders made Monday to Thursday before 13:00 (with confirmed security results checks,) you can choose ‘Next Working Day Delivery’ for £3.95. Orders £75.00 or under have a set delivery cost of £3.95 (Unless ‘ standard delivery’ at £2.99 for orders under £75 is chosen,) and are delivered the next working day. There are no Deliveries on a Saturday or a Sunday using this delivery service. You will receive your parcel the next working day via a tracked courier service before 18:00. Orders received after 13:00 on a Thursday will be sent out on Friday for a Monday delivery. Any orders placed after 13:00 on Friday; and any orders received Saturday and Sunday, will be sent out Monday for a Tuesday delivery. You will receive email notification one hour before the parcel is delivered. Please note that if you require a Saturday delivery you must select the Saturday delivery option.
This delivery option is available when you are going to be out all week and want to receive your parcel on a Saturday, or if you order on a Friday morning and want your parcel the next day. You can specify to receive your parcel on a Saturday when you place your order anytime between Monday and 13:00 on a Friday. If you select this delivery option you will receive your parcel on the upcoming Saturday between 09.00 to 17.00. Orders placed after 13:00 on a Friday won’t be dispatched until the following week.
UK Highlands & Islands
Unfortunately, some delivery services to offshore and Highland regions of Scotland take longer to deliver to and are charged at a premium. Our postcode identifier in the Delivery Address fields will automatically recognise those areas and will only present the UK Highlands & Islands shipping option. Leaving out or altering your postcode will result in non-delivery or a delayed processing of your order whilst we contact you to obtain the correct postcode and take payment for the shipping.
What is a Standard Working Day
Standard Working Days for delivery are Monday to Friday. Ordering on a Friday morning before 13:00 on a ‘guaranteed next working day delivery’ means that your parcel will not be delivered until Monday, as this is the next standard working day. If you require your parcel on a Saturday, you need to place your order before 13:00 on a Friday and choose the specific ‘Saturday delivery’ option at checkout. If you order after 13:00 on a Friday your parcel will not be despatched until Monday which, will arrive Tuesday if ‘guaranteed next working day delivery’ is chosen or later if ‘standard delivery’ is chosen.
Certain areas in Scotland require 2-4 working days to deliver, therefore priority delivery services are unavailable in these areas.
When will my order be dispatched?
Once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email stating ‘awaiting fulfilment’ this means your order has been received and is ready for picking. You are then emailed your tracking details when the goods are dispatched.
What courier do you use?
All orders are shipped via Interlink Express,DPD and Royal Mail, all goods are sent insured and tracked. Goods will be insured during the time it is in transit up until it is delivered and signed for.
When will you deliver?
Our courier will attempt delivery anytime between 09:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays) and 09:00 to 17:00 on a Saturday.
Do i need to sign for the delivery?
For your security and ours, a signature is required for all parcels.
Can I send my order to another address?
Yes, of course. You can select a different address during the checkout and save it to your address book for the next time you shop. You can update your address book at any time by logging into the site and clicking on my account.
What happens if i miss my delivery?
Your delivery needs to be signed for. If you are out, the courier will firstly try your neighbours, leaving you a card saying which neighbour. If no neighbour is available, they will retain the parcel and try again the next day. If no signature can be obtained the next day, the parcel will be taken to a postal depot and a card left with the depot’s details for you to collect from within 3 working days. If no collection is made and the goods are returned to us, there is a courier charge applicable by the courier company which will be passed back to you as well as a re-send charge of a further £3.95.
